Job Description:

  • Assist the Master/Chief Officer in safe navigation and watchkeeping duties.
  • Maintain navigational charts, publications, and voyage planning.
  • Monitor vessel position using radar, GPS, and other navigation equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations (COLREGs, SOLAS, MARPOL).
  • Supervise deck crew and oversee deck maintenance activities.
  • Assist in cargo operations, loading/unloading, and stability calculations.
  • Maintain safety equipment and ensure adherence to HSE policies.
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of vessel operations.
